There's nothing better than getting compliments on how good you smell when going out. Colognes are necessary wherever you leave the house as you never want to smell bad. My brother has an obsession with buying colognes which I benefit from as I often use most of them. He often buys them but mostly complains about their prices as they can often be somewhat expensive. I have my little cologne collection but it doesn't compare to his as he has one for every occasion. He watches many reviews and videos online on many colognes to see his next purchase and he teaches me the different types of colognes and how to apply them. He considers himself an "expert" with in reality he's nowhere near that title, he's just someone who enjoys buying and using colognes.

Colognes is essentially a spray with a liquid fragrance that is meant to have a strong but nice smell whenever you apply it. It's similar to perfume but cologne is more towards men while perfume is majority used by women. My brother and I know the difference but we've been calling cologne, perfume since we were small. Colognes are essential to leave a good impression on people and it's necessary for whenever you decide to go out. The main two types of colognes are Eau de toilette and Eau de parfum. Eau de toilette tends to be cheaper as it lasts a short amount of time and contains fewer fragrance oils. Eau de parfum is similar but they last longer and contain more fragrance oils making them stronger. You can create your fragrance to your liking but people mostly buy named brand fragrances. Cologne's prices range anywhere from $20-$200+ depending on the brand, some fragrances are worth the price in my opinion.


If you ever want to buy a cologne I recommend going to the store and smelling them first before purchasing. Also if you're indecisive about what cologne to buy I recommend looking at reviews online and watching videos with an expert point of view, this makes it easier to choose as it gives you someone else's perspective.

Overall, Cologne is a must-have wherever you go out, this leaves a good impression on people and it makes you more confident while smelling amazing. I would recommend an Eau de parfum while it can leave a long-lasting smell although it might be a little pricey. Also, I would encourage people to smell before purchasing to get something of their liking. Hopefully, my brother could expand his collection so I could take some of his fragrances.

    Wow! I never knew there was a difference in types of cologne. Usually I pick something I like where the scent is nice but not too strong. I'll definitely be sure to look more closely into what I were.
